GSMS Bobsled Olympics
GSMS students designed and tested bobsleds at Sunlight Ski Resort using only cardboard and duct tape using concepts learned in math and science classes. Winning bobsleds were awarded medals made of cardboard and duct tape in an Olympic like ceremony in three categories: best design, most artistic and speed.

We've got some great classes scheduled for this fall - everything from drama to martial arts, cooking to Crossfit! Check out the classes offered at your child's school at the ACCESS website. Registration packets have also been sent home from school with your student.
The deadline to register is Monday, September 22, 2014. Classes fill up quickly and students are registered on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your child signed up soon!
SecondShift after-school program provides middle school students in the Roaring Fork and Garfield Re-2 school districts with enrichment activities up to four days a week with an emphasis on character development and life skills. SecondShift delivers low-cost academic assistance, health, safety, fitness and art classes.
